About Athlete

Soccer is my blood and soul…This sensation entered my body on the 21st of June 2010 at the age of 8 where I was fortunate enough to be a player escort at the 2010 Fifa World Cup Match, between Spain and Honduras. It is after walking out to a fully packed stadium of 60,000 people from that day I decided that soccer was my destiny and I began to pursue this dream. I have been involved in the prestigious Bidvest Wits Fc Youth Academy which has been touted as one of the best academies in South Africa for 5 years where I joined as a tiny 12 year old playing a year older for the U/13 and recently left as a 6ft 4 Developed Goalkeeper/Man. During my time at the academy I have had two years of international exposure having the privilege of playing in the International Future Champs tournament for two years back to back having played against international teams such as Spartak Moscow and Ac Reggiana just to name a few. It is from here my desire to play in America arose. I believe I am at the level to compete internationally whilst having the ability to complete my studies. The American System is perfect for this and I believe I would do justice to my family, all the coaches that developed me and most importantly the school I will be representing. Being in a intense, professional academy for five years has taught me a lot but the biggest lesson I have learnt is discipline. From the age of 12 I have had to learn to balance my homework with my training and training 5 times a week for 4 hours each day plus matches on the weekend was not necessarily easy. I believe my discipline is what sets me apart.
