About Athlete

Hi! My name is Celeste Polzonetti and I’m a Track and Field athlete from Italy. I would like to study and practice in a college because I think it could be an interesting experience and a good opportunity to improve my self. I care a lot about both academic and sport side, that’s why I want to find a university that will help me to reach my goals.

What makes you different?

My first great love was rhythmic gymnastics which I practiced from 6 to 11 years old. Due to some problems I had to stop, but my dream of becoming a great athlete is still the same and I am very determind to reach my goals and follow my dreams.

I have to admit that during the most difficult times I thought about quit, but I never really did and I never will. This sport has now become one of the most important part of my life and I want it to be a part of it forever.
I am very determinated to reach my goals and realize my dreams.

Why do you want to compete in college?

My dream since i was a child is to become a great athlete and i think studying in the USA is the right way to achieve it because it can give me opportunities that here I could never have.

Here in Italy, being a student-athlete is very difficult and I would like to go to study in a place where they will help me to carry on both of them in the best way.

College Goals?

Talking about the college, I would like to finish all 4 years and graduate and then possibly continue with a master's degree.
