About Athlete

My name is Radu Daniel Florea, 18 years old, from Bucharest, Romania. I am a junior tennis player currently playing national and international tournaments.
I started to play tennis at the age of 7. Initially my parents wanted me to practice a sport and took me to my schoolteacher who was also responsible with coaching few other kids and help them discover the tennis world. I proved myself quite skillful from the very beginning, few month later winning second place in a house tournament competing with older kids. The coach approached my parents suggesting I should pursuit a more advanced training which I did.
In the following couple of years, I started to participate regularly to tennis competitions meant for under 10 kids, training more and more and progressing.
Soon I have been accepted to Dinamo Bucuresti tennis club where I started to train along with other advanced players and under supervision of highly qualified coaches (former WTA tennis players). My game improved a lot and soon I have started wining competitions in the official FRT calendar (Romanian Tennis Federation).
After few years, I went to practice within Dinu Pescariu Tennis Academy where I stepped up to my next level practicing even more intensely, also physically and mentally. It’s the time when I started participating in international tournaments, locally and abroad, competing against best national and international players. Together with the club team, we were the runners-up in National Romanian Championship for tennis clubs several times.
In the latest years I have collaborated with highly renowned coaches and practice along with WTA and ATP players.
