What makes you different?
I have had extremely strong drive and determination from a young age which as I grew up turned into being remarkably competitive, passionate and exceptionally focused in everything I put my mind to. This spirit has helped me excel in my sport, representing the country in two sports. I class myself as creative on the ice and read the game extremely well. I am a natural forward with a constant eye for a goal or the pass to create opportunity. With this hunger, I can make a large impact on the team. I am also a natural leader and someone who likes to ensure everyone is having fun and the team’s moral is high, that said, I ensure the team is focused when the time is right.
Why do you want to compete in college?
It has been my dream since the age of 7 to go to college in America and play ice hockey. The level of competitiveness, the life experience coupled with my focus and determination in academics brings together everything I have been striving for by attending college in America.
College Goals?
To attain the very highest level of academic degree result. To become a key player in the college team by working with some of the very best coaches in America. I am looking forward to the experience of living in a different country and embracing the opportunities this will present.
Anything else we should know?
As well as ice hockey, I also enjoy playing field hockey, playing for the England U16 team last year. I also play piano as a way of relaxation, I play to Grade 8 standard.
