About Athlete

Soccer is a constantly evolving sport. Players are smarter, physically more athletic and technically better. Defenders can no longer be just defensively strong and aggressive, they must be able to defend as well as being able to pass like a midfielder. I believe that I possess all the attributes of an old-fashioned defender as well as personifying the modern-day defender/soccer player. My exposure to a very high level of soccer and coaching has made me a very mature and insightful soccer player, who enjoys leading not only the defense, but the whole team. My leadership qualities have been recognized by the management structures without exception. I have been appointed as captain of all the teams that I have played for and was made the captain on my debut for the SuperSport reserve team, where I was playing with many more experienced players.
