What makes you different?
What makes me unique is my perseverance. In any situation, no matter how unattainable a certain goal seems, I do not give up. No matter how many times I fail, I always find a way to reset and try again without fearing failure or embarrassment. In addition to this, I think that my discipline sets me apart from others; I am able to keep the main goal in mind without my focus diverging to other things. I consistently try make the tough choices: to sacrifice comfort and temporary pleasure for long term success.
Why do you want to compete in college?
For me, competing in college sports has been a goal of mine for quite a while. It successfully combines a very high sporting level with an excellent education which I find to be extremely beneficial to anyone offered the opportunity. As my ultimate goal is to become a professional footballer, I understand that there is life after soccer and that obtaining a college degree will better equip me for that stage of my life. As college sports combines both education and sports at an extremely high level, I think that it is ideal for me to be a part of it.
College Goals?
I want to compete at the highest level, while helping my team to get as close as possible to winning tournaments and championships. Ultimately, my goal is to gain exposure which will help me take my soccer to the next level in terms of playing professionally. I want to work and improve every day, helping my team in the process.
Academically, I would like to put in as much effort as possible to finish my studies which will hopefully help me when I am not able to play anymore.
