About Athlete

My name is Jackson Compain, I’m a rower for Kings’ College and was born in Fiji. My goal for college is to row at the highest level while still getting the most I can out of the academic and cultural aspects of the college.

Kings’ College rowing club U15-U17 squad. (2021-2023), in the nationals squad for every season.

- North islands secondary school champs (2022, 2023) and North islands club champs (2023)
- Head of the Harbour (2022, 2023)

What makes you different?

Born and raised in smaller island nations so will bring a different culture and mindset to any team I join.

Why do you want to compete in college?

To row in a higher and more competitive level as well as to get more national and potentially international exposure so I can join the rowing New Zealand team eventually.

College Goals?

Perform relatively well academically while being highly competitive at rowing, preferably winning many events.
