Already at a very young age, I have had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe, (Greece, Italy, Turkey, Austria, Slovakia), as a result of my participation in ERASMUS educational programs at school, as well as due to my taking part in various soccer tournaments (Greece, Portugal, Denmark and The Netherlands). At the age of 16, I left home, by myself, to live for one year abroad with a host family in the Netherlands to pursue my passion of training at a high level for soccer, and currently, I am living on my own and finishing my senior year in highschool in Athens, in order to train and play on a third national level men's team based there. As a result, I have obtained experience in regards to living in new environments with different cultures and languages. I have become self sufficient and independent, and have learned survival skills which have helped me to adapt faster to new and challenging surroundings. Playing on the third level national men's team, I am currently playing soccer with athletes of all ages, ranging from 17 to 35 years of age, who come from different cultural and educational backgrounds as well as skill levels. Some of my team members have played for teams in the first national level of Greece and even have participated in the UEFA Champions League. On a personal level, I have strong communication and leadership skills, but I also excel as a teamplayer. I am very goal oriented, dedicated, consistent in my training and I am willing to make sacrifices to achieve my goals.

It has always been been my dream to be able to combine pursuing a college education while playing soccer at the highest level. Both my mother's parents, as well as my mother have received high degrees from Universities in the United States, and I would also like to have the opportunity to experience living in the United States, to benefit from the excellent educational and athletic environment offered in U.S. Universities, to participate in competitive championships at a college level and to make a difference for my team. I believe playing soccer at a college level will give me the opportunity to challenge my abilities against excellent athletes from all over the United States and the world, which also will make me a more competitive and better soccer player, myself.

My educational goals are to receive the necessary knowledge required in order to excel and be a competitive professional in the field of business and finance. I would also like to have the experience of being an active member of a student organization and making new friends on campus, with the similar interests to myself. My sport goals are to train and to compete at the highest level, to cooperate with my team members and to challenge myself constantly to become a better player and a vital member of my team.

I have both Greek and U.S. citizenship.

My mother is an alumni from the University of Texas at Dallas and has her MBA from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, AZ. My grandfather is an alumni of DUKE from where he received his PhD in Electrical Engineering and my grandmother is an alumni of The University of Western Carolina.
