Article in after winning High School Conference tournament, linked below.

What makes you different?

I enjoy the process of getting better. I feel that I handle my failures just as well as my success, and I love grinding to figure out how to improve. Whether it be in the practice areas, practicing on the course, or in the gym, I love working towards my goal and seeing the fruits of my labor in tournaments. My mental game has also come a long way, I find myself much more relaxed on the first tee and in pressure situations. I also feel that I bring a positive energy and a personality that coaches and fellow players want on their team.

Why do you want to compete in college?

Ever since I picked up a golf club for the first time at 7, all I wanted to do was play. I want to continue to improve and play the game I love while competing with the best in the nation, and hopefully play professionally.

College Goals?

I would like to improve my weaknesses in golf, and establish habits and a work ethic that will stay with me wherever my golf career/life may go. Academically, I would like to major in computer science and graduate with my Bachelors, setting myself up for life beyond college.

Anything else we should know?

Winner of High School Conference tournament as a freshman in 4 man playoff against 2 juniors, 1 senior. Have not played high school golf since due to covid.

Some of my other passions are working out and playing other sports for fun.
