About Athlete
In this life, I want to be the best version of myself. I have the attitude, aptitude, and the ability to succeed. I just need the opportunity.
I love being a goalkeeper, having wandered into the goals at age 7 and never looked back. I hope to realize my dream of playing professionally.
In that journey, I need to put myself in environments, and surround myself with people that challenge and support me to push on. Currently I balance working with my team coaches (club, school, and rep), Pro-Player Academy (GK specific coaches), strength and conditioning coaches, and rehab teams to get the most out my body and improve my game.
It’s important to me to start my career beyond soccer now – while I’m still playing. Playing college soccer will allow me to do this.
I receive outstanding academic achievement awards every year – both at primary and high school. My 2021 middle school principal, Ms Jessica Walker, recently wrote me a letter congratulating me on my continued academic success and acknowledging my strength of my character.
“Please know that your outstanding effort has been recognised and trust that your commendable work ethic and ability to stay motivated, even when life may present you with difficulties, will lay the foundation for your success in any of your future endeavours. ”
Ms. Jessica Walker (Middle School Principal – Kelvin Grove State College)
Excellent time management skills, an ability to quickly understand new concepts and persevere though adversity allows me to balance my academic and sporting pursuits, and has proved a recipe for success.
I look forward to sharing my achievements with you over the coming years towards a 2025 intake and invite you to connect.

Additional sporting info
I’ve enjoyed success playing representative Futsal but in 2020 decided to concentrate on field soccer, as I acknowledged it affecting my positioning and decision-making in the box.
In both the secondary schools I have attended, Murrumba Secondary College and Kelvin Grove State High School, I have been accepted into the Soccer Excellence Program. This allows me to train every day at school as part of my study program under a team of professionals, including specialized GK coaching.
I combine this with Club training, 3 nights a week, GK training at Pro-Player Academy 2 times a week and 1 session with a private strength and conditioning coach.
I stretch and rollout daily and attend to any niggling concerns. I’m rarely injured and work with my school rehab team, physios and my strength and conditioning coach to eliminate any physical concerns.
I play in the highest junior women’s soccer league in Australia – the National Premier League (NPL). In 2020 I moved to The Gap FC after winning the 2019 Premiership and Grand Final with Moreton Bay United (MBU). The move was intentional, as I wanted to get more action in the goals, and that I did… I moved back to MBU in 2021 - my head and heart belonged at that club. I returned to the coach and the core of the team I played with in 2019, renewed friendships, trained hard and felt refreshed for what became a successful 2021 season, where I helped regain the NPL Premiership, the team had lost in my absence.
I have been retained for the U16 Girls side at MBU for the 2022 season. Queensland Academy of Sport also invited me to join their women’s soccer program for 2022. Here I’ll have access to specialized goalkeeper training sessions, having been invited to attend in the last quarter of 2021.
Fitness test - 30-15 Intermittent Fitness Test (30-15 IFT) result of 17.5 mid-season
Biggest strengths within my game – my communication, reading play, composure under pressure, positional awareness and shot stopping.

What makes you different?
What makes me different is my attitude towards everything I do. I approach every task with the same interest and effort that I would when doing something I love. I also show commitment to football as well as my studies and believe that it is important to set high standards and strive to uphold them.
I think what makes my stand out is my attitude to approaching life – my sport, academics and the relationships I have with my peers and mentors.
Ms Jessica Walker, my Middle School Principal in 2021, said this of my character, which I’d like to share –
“Your classroom teachers have informed me that you are a conscientious student who actively displays resilience and determination by consistently giving your best effort…
Students of your quality lift the culture of teaching and learning in every classroom you walk into, as you positively influence your peers through leading by example and showing how much you respect your teachers and the opportunities you are afforded through being a student at Kelvin Grove State College.
By acting with integrity, you are creating a quality life of purpose and happiness, aligned with your values. It is clear you are committed to the pursuit of being the best you can be. Natural talent or ability might give someone a head start, but it is always one’s effort and having the internal fortitude to stay motivated that creates the greatest rewards in life.”
Ms. Jessica Walker (Middle School Principal - Kelvin Grove State College)
I am grateful for the opportunities i am given and am diligent in my endeavors, so those opportunities are not wasted. I see the reward for effort, apply myself and am patient in waiting for the results to unfold.
Why do you want to compete in college?
In order to be the best version of myself i need to be in the right environment and really make the most of it. I have the desire to achieve, and really think the college system is the right environment for me to be able to improve not only as an athlete but also allow me to work on my career aspirations outside of soccer - teaching.
There’s nothing like the college system in Australia! From what I have researched and from the experiences of girls I have spoken to who have played college soccer, I
College Goals?
By the end of my college football career I want to have not only achieved my qualifications to be a teacher, but also be knocking on the door of playing professional soccer either in the US, Europe, Japan or back home in Australia.
Anything else we should know?
My family has invested in a Veo2 camera to film my games. I’ll use the footage to analyze my game, and cut highlight reels to send to prospective coaches.
