About Athlete
My objective is to combine my academic studies and sporting talent. I have the experience and motivation to work hard in both required attributes in order to leave an impact on the college team I represent. Soccer is my passion, my dream. I have achieved a lot of things in the French fields, and I want to do bigger in the United States.

What makes you different?
I am a respectful and well educated person, I was taught the value of hard work when I was young and I always give my best in everything I do.
My confidence, my raw talent, my creativity and my deep desire to succeed both on and off the field. People know me to be the man who pulls his team up. And I think my European knowledge when it comes to soccer can benefit any top team. I have a lot of former teammates who used to play the Champions league (Yaya Sanogo, Paul George Ntep) and also an old friend and teammate who played for the US national youth team: Maki Tall.
Why do you want to compete in college?
I really think college is the best thing for me now. I was what we call a “pépite” (wonderkid) when I was young. A lot of French pro clubs wanted me (Lorient, Rennes, Nimes, Auxerre) but my parents wanted me to stay focused on school first. I have played for AJA Auxerre-Ligue1 for a moment but due to issues, I left the club and my parents sent me back to Senegal in 2013. There, I secretly played for a team called Dakar Sacre-Coeur-Ligue2 and came back in Europe 2 years later (2015). I was supposed to sign a pro contract with Carpi FC-SerieB last summer but at the end of the mercato they cancelled. That’s the reason I have lost 2 years of scholarship that I have dedicated to soccer, playing in NCAA equivalent level in France (National2).
College in the US has always been an option for me. It seems like it will give me the exposure I always wanted plus it offers me the chance to dream again and to be a professional player (MLS Superdraft is an objective/sign pro also). The college that will put faith in me will not regret it. I am ultra-confident about my talent.
College Goals?
Win honors, win trophies and succeed in both academics and sport.
