What makes you different?
When I was younger I didn't have many opportunities and as I got older I was shown a new world of possibilities, a world my parents didn't even get a glimpse of. As I entered this new I made the choice to make the most of every and any opportunity I get, but the golf show me a possibility of a future better than the one anyone in my family was ever granted. I might be unique or have a story that you've never heard before but I'm not here just to blend in I'm determined to make a name for myself and for my family.
Why do you want to compete in college?
I want to compete in college because it's an experience that I know will only better myself. Golf is a one man sport but being a part of a team makes it feel less lonely. Competing at a college level will strengthen my golf but importantly will strengthen me mentally, it will also give me the opportunities to play different courses, in different conditions and against really good golfers.
I plan to finish my degree in sports sciences to be a specialized golf specific personal trainer and to represent my colleges golf 1st or 2nd golf team during my years of studying.
