Steven Sabino is my name and I am from Mozambique but currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am an aspiring track and field athlete whose objective is to get superior college level education while enhancing my sporting abilities. The way I separate my schoolwork and sports from my social life is probably one of my best traits. Being able to fit in with unfamiliar surroundings has been my whole life . Whether it is gaming with my friends or doing public speaking ,I always find ways to make it enjoyable. Despite being regarded as an “overachiever” ,I believe that there is always room for improvement and going to the US is the best step one can take in the athletics industry.

What makes you different?
My consistency in both my academic and sporting endeavors has allowed me to be the person i am today. Being able to manage my time effectively increases my productivity while having enough rest to prevent myself from burning out.
Why do you want to compete in college?
I want to compete in college because it gives athletes the first taste of professional participation and such can be very beneficial in the future. Being given the chance to participate at such a high level while focusing on my schooling as well has been my dream for the past few years and going to college in the US can fulfill most of my desires.
My main goal is to find my purpose in life. The environment will be strenuous but I believe that I can progress both on and off the track. I'm an aspiring Chief financial Officer who wants to obtain a Accountancy Degree(Chartered). With regards to travk and field ,my first push to perform at NCAA Regionals to the best of my abilities in my freshman year and then continue to build on from there.
