Being a student and athlete has made me a more dedicated and determined person with a open mind to new experiences. What I believe makes me different is that having just turned 18, I have learnt to deal with academic and performance related pressures everyday. Being focused and having the facility to consolidate my studies and basketball, has allowed me to be successful in both. It has built my self-confidence and I am able to deal with unexpected situations. My self-motivation has taught me to separate my priorities, which puts me a step ahead of others students and athletes. I am now ready to continue being a successful student-athlete at a higher level!

As I mentioned, I am a person who loves new experiences. I think this is a huge opportunity to be able to evolve in all aspects, personally or academically, as well as in sports. For me, competing in college would be an incredible experience, which would change my life in all aspects, opening doors in the future, doors that I would not be able to open, continuing my journey in Portugal. Competition makes us stronger and more determined.

With this experience, I want to enrich my character and evolve as much as a person, as well as an athlete. The education level is definitely very high, which is what I have always wanted to experienced together with the competitive university championship. So, without doubt, the main objective that I want to achieve and conquer in this experience are the values and the ethics of this routine at the highest level. By doing this I will strive towards the accomplishment of the school team's goals, and maintain this experience throughout life.
