Best aspect of your game
The best aspect of my game is ball carrying and decision making, as to what I do when I have ball in hand
What makes you different?
Since a young kid, sport in general has been an utmost passion of mine. At the age of 12 I began playing rugby and have loved every minute of it. I have been lucky enough to play against the top South African boys schools in the country and value the brotherhood that I have formed with my team mates overs the years. I have an undying passion for hard work and strive to always outperform my opposite number. I enjoy the tem environment and the ideals that a team is only as strong as its weakest link. This ultimately inspires me to not only push myself to work hard but also the people around me whether it be on or off the field. I furthermore also find a strong passion in the off field team environment as it is a crucial part in building the attitude of the team and the ultimate superior motive of the team as a whole.
Why do you want to compete in college?
I really want to broaden my horizons and play a different style of rugby. I want to see how I can bring the brand of rugby I play to other leagues and how I can make an impact in a different training and playing environment. Across the board, college sport is competitive and the competitive nature in me will hopefully strive in this environment. The facilities in college programs are some of the best in the world in terms of colleges and this can help to further grow my career.
College Goals?
A few of my college goals are to learn more about myself, meet new people, be successful on sports teams and in the class. I plan on studying business or law in college.
Anything else we should know?
I find passion in gym, public speaking as well as leadership based modules.
