How to get recruited as a Senior

Congratulations! It’s your last year in high school, you made it! What should you be doing now to get recruited to play at the college or university level?

First, review your transcripts and make sure you’re on track to meet the NCAA course requirements. You should know exactly what you need to be taking to be academically eligible.

Secondly, take your SAT or the ACT for the second or third time if necessary.

Thirdly, complete your amateurism questionnaire within your NCAA Certification Account. If enrolling in the Fall, you can request your final Amateurism Certification within your NCAA Certification Account on or after April 1. If you’re enrolling in the Winter/Spring semester then request it on or after October 1. However, April 1 (Fall semester) and October 1 (Winter/Spring semester) are just the first days you can request your Amateurism Certification.

Finally, make sure your counselor sends your final high school transcripts and proof of graduation to the NCAA Eligibility Center.

If you are just getting started in your recruitment process, while you are late to the game, there are still options for you. Reach out to us at ASM Scholarships and let us get you going on the right foot. We can move you through the process so you can quickly secure a scholarship and commit to a university. At this point, you do not have much time, so don’t waste it.
